Drabble: "Light to My Eyes" (100 words)

He is the light to my eyes. He is the sun that rises in the morning and hangs burning over a desert in the noon sky; he is starlight and moonlight.

His the warming glow of lamplight on cloudy nights; his the smoky blur of gold within on days of heavy rainfall.

He is the glimmer of quartz turned to fire found inside mysterious grottos...

His light needs no flame -- no oil or wood fuel him.

Yet as with the sun I see the gods have helped to form his Light.

Shine on, my Lover! (Bring me light, my Love.)
