Drabble: "Flaunted Love" (100 words)

They give so much away! Do they not realize?

Those gathered here are not oblivious as Legolas stands defending the man he's made 'his' king! Nor do they miss the ease with which Aragorn demands the elf sit down.

I knew Estel would go with Frodo, how not? (So it was plain the Mirkwood prince would go, as well -- as the moon will follow the sun in the sky.)

I try avoidance of their thoughts -- yet they flaunt them so! At night I hear their passion rising -- no, I have not forgotten...

(Do you rest well, Isildur, once my love?)
