Drabble -- "My Scout" (100 words)

As ever he scouts the way -- I send him yet again and never does he complain (or share a frown).

Quiet warrior with quiet ways of warring, we understand each other well. A look can tell the tale between us oft as not.

Some nights he comes -- again my scout as together we journey Passion's realm. (Though he knows he is not first in my heart, he willingly takes the love I parcel him.)

He is my knight in all things, I know it well. How could I find my way -- in daylight or darkness -- should Tristan not be there?
